Founded in 1947 at New York, today it blooms as the world’s biggest educational computing ring. It promotes proficient evolution for sustained learning and professional unite. ACM enables networking amongst councils established all over the world to strengthen technical skills, provide prominent job openings and nonpareil resource material. Apart from traditional journals and magazines, ACM has a magnificent digital library and detailed card catalogue resources from several reputed publishers. Being the unsurpassed computing society, it aims to be a foundation for promoting high standards, primacy skills and a brilliant technical mindset.
We at ACM-W Student Chapter, Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore realize the paramountcy of women in the field of technology. We celebrate the versatility of women for their creative and optimal solutions to real-world problems with technical modeling.
The superior objective of ACM-W is to make the technical
world welcoming to women and to drastically increase their
participation in the field of computing as well as provide
resources for proficient learning. We recognize the vitality
of gender equality and through our student chapter, we wish
to accomplish this equilibrium. We promote sisterhood
amongst our members and mutual growth.

ACM Special Interest Groups also called as ACM SIG’s is a
community that work to develop and research on various fields in
computer science technology like web development, data sciences,
coding, artificial intelligence, graphics and few more exciting
fields for growth of computer science technology.ACM carries
most of its works through Self Interest Groups in the field of
computer science. ACM SIG’s play a vital role in educating and
providing them knowledge about computer science technology. They
help their members to compete with the growing technology in
this digital age. They publish newsletters and magazines,
encourage excellence through multiple recognition programs, and
organize conferences and activities on a local-to-global scale.
